- 本實驗室主要功能為協助院內所有研究人員從事醫學基礎研究，以提供醫學臨床
檢體處理、基因檢測與細胞培養等相關實驗為主。
- 臨床檢體處理主要是以醫學研究為目的，並須經人體試驗委員會同意(請檢附IRB
同意書)，方可進行檢體的處理。
- 研究服務項目包含：
1. 臨床檢體前處理(臨床檢體包含組織、血液、尿液及唾液等，申請時須附IRB同意書，
送檢體時請附該檢體之受試者同意書及剩餘檢體同意書)。
2. DNA萃取 (DNA extraction)。
3. 免疫組織化學染色(Immunohistochemistry, IHC)。
4. 原位雜交染色(In situ hybridization, ISH)實驗。
5.即時定量PCR (Real-time PCR, Q-PCR)。
6. RNA萃取 (RNA extraction)。
7. 細胞株培養(Cell lines or Primary cell culture and Phenotypes analysis)。
8. 西方點墨法(western blot)。
9. PCR & agarose check。
10. 酵素免疫分析(ELISA)。
11. 其他：未列於以上之服務內容者，若有需求可先來電洽詢實驗室任同仁 (院內分機3216)。

- 申請資格：
凡本院職員通過國科會、國家衛生研究院、衛生署等國家型計畫、院內計畫及其他單位經費補助之計畫主持人或任何需要實驗研究相關協助者。 - 申請程序：
- 由申請人檢附「使用申請書」或「實驗室技術協助申請書」向本委員會提出申請。
- 使用申請書-研究計畫之執行與費用核銷全部由實驗室同仁執行者以及有全職助理於實驗室者。
- 實驗室技術協助申請書-其他所有需要協助者，本服務需由申請人自行提供所申請技術服務所需的各項試劑及耗材；實驗室可代為向廠商訂購(費用需由申請人自行核銷)；若沒有計畫經費，可先自行尋求有計劃之主持人協助提供，實驗室同仁亦可協助與有計劃之主持人連絡、溝通協商。
- 使用期間：
- 使用申請書-一年申請一次，請於計劃開始執行前一個月提出申請，多年期計畫仍需一年申請一次。
- 實驗室技術協助申請書-申請採隨到隨辦，但須於試驗開始前一周提出申請；同一專案之內容可一次申請，不同專案需分別申請；申請協助時間內同一服務內容僅需提出一次申請，超過時間需重申提出申請；申請協助時間最長到當年度12月31日止，隔年如需繼續服務，必須於期滿前一週前再次提出申請。
