牙線操作方法

取約45公分長的牙線。
一端繞在中指的第二指節約兩圈，中間取適當長度，一端繞在中指的第二指節約兩圈。
手指頭一握緊拳心，即可把牙線繃緊。
翻轉兩手，使掌心向外，同時拇指輕輕接觸並與牙線平行，這即是牙線在兩中指的適當長，這也是操作牙線之基本手勢。
牙線越過一手食指與另一手拇。
兩手指打直，把牙線帶進牙縫。
將牙線繃緊牙齒的鄰接面使其略成ｃ型上下刮，兩指同時上下運動。
刮同一牙縫的另一面。
同法，清理其他牙縫。
刮後牙區時，使用兩手食指。
要做到最後一顆牙的最後一面為止。
